Personally I don’t like the distortion that stretching can give the body. Scalpelling can minimize that. Just my two cents. :)
That is a definite. I had originally had my medusa pierced at 14g and stretched to 2g and already had a fat turtle lip. Stating it bigger was the best…

far2frail asked: I actually started considering a vertical labret. My main concern is trying to conceal it during times that I need to look professional. Do you have any experience with trying to hide one? It seems a retainer would be really obvious and taking it out would allow it to close.
